Baby Chakra and Johnson and Johnson (J&J) decided to host about 30 moms with kids at a bloggers and social media influencers meet during Chennai’s peak summer.
With a lot of hospitality at Hyatt Regency, the event kicked off with introductions and networking with some coffee time. This was followed by the agenda of J&J marketing manager educating us about the natural oil v/s mineral oils, the ph balance in a lotion, body wash particularly, the Johnson’s products. All this with the kids playing around at the back of the room in a play area set up by the team. This was amazing support. Here are the links to the informative videos we were taken through.
Following this, we did a couple of activities where we squeezed out the johnson’s and a random packet of wipes to compare the clarity of the liquid and the moisture content in it.
Johnson and Johnson’s launched the baby laundry liquid soap during this session. We tested the liquid wash by staining a piece of cloth and washing it ourselves only to learn that the fabric came out clean of certain stains like chocolate, soya sauce etc. This will soon be available in stores.
The top to toe body wash was tested for it’s mildness on the skin using the litmus test.
The third part of the session was a very transparent and honest Q&A where the marketing manager of J&J answered all the doubts and questions by moms, rebuilding the trust in the brand. Few questions included
- Do the products have carcinogenic elements? The answer was no and that the products go through a lab testing in the development and production stage and have been tested, checked by regulatory authorities.
Many other such questions can be emailed to Team J&J
Conclusively, team J&J along with Baby Chakra live by their mantra of being a mom’s trusting partner in taking care of her baby and thus have come forward to reach out to their consumers in different cities, taking them through a session of scientific education about kids products and DIYs to get a first hand experience. J&J is certainly walking an extra mile to restore faith and trust amongst their consumers.
Personal thoughts – Will I use the brand? I love their wipes. I think they’re cost effective and serve the purpose right. I personally use the baby oil too on my skin and I love the J&J chamomile shampoo (purple bottle) for my daughter. It just suits us 🙂
