Q.What are some really effective exercises that moms can do to deal with stubborn tummy fat?
This is a really tough one – for women of all ages. The short answer is that there is no single exercise that can blast tummy fat – unfortunately, spot reduction is just a myth. Losing stubborn tummy fat comes from a combination of a healthy diet, good sleeping patterns, cardiovascular activity (swimming, running, walking) and weight / resistance training. This combination will help you lose weight at a healthy, sustainable rate.
A lot of women love cardio because they believe that lifting weights will cause them to become bulky. However, your body needs to build muscle in order to burn more calories, and when muscle starts to develop, your body will burn calories at a higher rate. In addition, the benefit of doing weight training is that you can build long, lean muscles that will begin to show as you lose the stubborn weight!
